Graphyte

Introducing "Graphyte".

Graphyte is a Sumara Arabian mare resin sculpted by Sommer Prosser and painted by DeeAnn Kjelshus. Graphyte is painted in artist quality pastels, acrylic paints and colored pencils into a lovely dappled grey. She has a slightly cusotmized tail that was made a tad thinner and shorter. She was originally finished in 2020. I never felt like she was really "done", so I picked her back up and started painting again in 2023, making her a darker dappled grey. Now I feel like she's found her true color. She has tons of details including hooves that are made to look sculpted even though only one of them is sculpted, the other 3 are flat. Some hair by hair used throughout to give the coat depth and detail, including her face.
