This is “Caught Ya Lookin”, a beautiful traditional scaled ASB stallion custom Breyer Hamilton painted by myself: DeeAnn Kjelshus. He is painted into a stunning dark Chestnut with lots of color variation. His eyes and muzzle are very detailed with whisker bumps and veining. He has detailed hooves, including bottoms. He also has detailed chestnuts and his mane and tail glide from light to dark colors like a real horse's coloring.

Caught Ya Lookin was professionally prepped. Then he was painted using artist-grade Oils paints, with his markings, eyes, and hooves being hand-painted in artist-grade acrylics. I also used some very subtle Pearl Ex Pigments which give his coat color a glow, and a slight shimmer/sheen. He is creating using many, many thin but smooth built-up layers. He is sealed with a final coat of protective finish, and his eyes and hooves are glossed for realism. He was completed in 2024. Caught Ya Lookin is top LSQ, my work has been live show, as well as NAN proven.
