I've tweaked her ears, neck, right rear pastern/hoof. I'm trying to decide if I like her flat topline, or if it is necessary as she would be rounding and flexing those muscles.... I may also thin her throatlatch at bit. I still hate her hooves and need to get the dremel out to shape those after the next 'firing'. |

I've done quite a bit of work to her since July when I posted the last photos. Here, her mane and tail are just roughed in to give an idea of what I'm thinking for shape and movement. |

The mares neck had cracked so I removed it and resculpted her on that's a bit longer. She's also having work done on her legs and belly this week. Right now she looks rather 'alien' with her ears looking more like antena than ears, LOL! (this is just the base to support the ears and make them stronger)
The left side of her neck hasn't had any sculpting done to it yet, so forgive the rawness of the pix. Along w/ the left side of her neck, I plan to work on her withers this week as they are bothering me.
I'd love to hear comments and suggestions, so please don't be shy send them my way. :) |

The photoshoped image at left shows how I'd like pose to be once off her base. She'll have a lot more lift. |

As you can see she's changed a lot since Feb. Her hooves are still just blobs stuck on and need work. But I've changed her neck and moved it up. I've also photo-shopped a mane and tail on so you can see what I'm thinking of for movement. |
|

Here you can see I've added her head, which is complete, and also started her neck. Since these photos were taken I also moved her neck, up a bit and much different. I'll try to get new photos soon. I've blocked in the tail just to give me a feel of what I'm going for. She is still VERY rough. Her hooves are just blocked in, and will be much neater/more correct. I'm still working on almost everything on her, but this gives you an idea of what I have been doing.

| Please note this is a Traditional Scale sculpture of an arab frolicking and she's in very rough stages, and lots will and has already changed. I've already added her front left leg and have added a head, and started the neck. I'm still working on the head/neck position and just can't find the perfect position. I had a reference photo I was using for the entire sculpture, but when it came to the head/neck I felt it just didn't work. So I'm searching for some more photos and perhaps a better position. |
