This is the Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig "Taboo" Resin that I have painted into a stunning Dapple Grey Appaloosa. I found a reference photo very similar to this color and I just couldn't resist trying to recreate the color! I had lots of fun trying new techniques to achieve the results you see. I was very pleased with my success. You will notice a lot going on in his coat including roaning, mapping around the spots, dappling, and much more! He has tons of appy characteristics, and very realistic eyes. I had a hard time capturing his color in the photos. He has lots of rust coloring going on in his muzzle, hindquarters, flanks, and other areas of his body. Pencils, Pastels, Acrylics. Completed August 2007.
